An Act providing legal fees to innocent citizens.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 261 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 1 the following section:-
Section 1A: All citizens of Massachusetts who are innocent of committing a felony or other heinous act shall have access to taxpayer-funded legal fees that are not less than those provided to any convicted wife murderer, except in criminal cases with respect to guilt or innocence.
