An Act relative to surety bond requirements for veterans.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 205 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official edition, is hereby amended by striking out section 9 and inserting in place thereof the following section:-
Section 9. Sureties on probate bonds shall be inhabitants of the commonwealth, and satisfactory to the judge or register; except that companies permitted by section 105 of chapter 175 to act as sureties may be accepted in accordance with the provisions thereof.
