SECTION 1. Section 22 of Chapter 211 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the first sentence the following:
Any justice of the court who has served in a judicial office at least fifteen years of continuous service, notwithstanding that this continuous service may involve one or more appointments to a judicial office within the Appeals Court or the Trial Court, shall be paid an additional five percent of the salary otherwise provided in this section. Such additional compensation shall be considered part of the judicial salary.
SECTION 2. Section 2 of Chapter 211A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the first sentence the following:
Any justice of the court who has served in a judicial office at least fifteen years of continuous service, notwithstanding that this continuous service may involve one or more appointments to a judicial office within the Trial Court, shall be paid an additional five percent of the salary otherwise provided in this section. Such additional compensation shall be considered part of the judicial salary.
SECTION 3. Section 4 of Chapter 211B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the third paragraph the following paragraph:
Any justice of the court who has served in a judicial office at least fifteen years of continuous service, notwithstanding that this continuous service may involve one or more appointments to a judicial office within the Trial Court, shall be paid an additional five percent of the salary otherwise provided in this section. Such additional compensation shall be considered part of the judicial salary.
