An Act relative to additional justices of the peace.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 39 of chapter 207 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “town”, in line 3, the following words:- or upon application by the chief executive officer of a city or town to the governor, 1 for every 2,500 inhabitants of a city or town.
