An Act permitting games of skill in veterans and non-profit and fraternal organizations.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 271 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition is hereby amended by inserting after the word "retailer" in Section 5B subsection (c) the following section:-
"This section shall not prohibit nor inhibit a federally registered pay telephone company established under section 214 of the U.S. Code from continuing to provide pay telephone services, including but not limited to, video teleconference and other enhanced telecommunication services, including evolving technology in telecommunications. This section shall not apply to nor prohibit any skill predominant game where prizes are limited to gift cards or gift certificates at federally chartered veterans organizations, or nonprofit fraternal or civic organizations."
