An Act prohibiting harassment of public officials.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 43A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after the word “person” the first time it appears in line 3, the following words:-
or a state or local government official who is elected to office
