An Act establishing a time frame for taking action against an appraiser.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Section 189 of Chapter 112 of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding a new sub-paragraph (13) as follows:
(13) No action may be taken under this Section against a person licensed under Sections 173 to 195 of Chapter 112 inclusive unless the action is commenced within 5 years after the date the report is signed or within 2 years after final disposition of any judicial proceeding in which the appraiser provided testimony related to the assignment, whichever period expires last.
