An Act relative to returning fees for noncriminal hearings of violations of certain motor vehicle laws.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. The first paragraph of paragraph (4) of subsection (A) of section 3 of chapter 90C of the General Laws, as amended by section 73 of the acts of 2009, is hereby further amended by adding the following sentence:-- If the clerk magistrate finds that the violator is not responsible for the citation, the $25 fee shall be returned by the court to the violator.
