An Act relative to the safety of children in camps.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, a candidate for employment or volunteer status at a camp for children shall be disqualified if the sex offender registry board, pursuant to section 178K(2) of chapter 6 of the General Laws, has given the candidate a level 1 designation under said section 178K(2)(a), a level 2 designation under said section 178K(2)(b), or a level 3 designation under said section 178(K)(2)(c).
