An Act clarifying the technical definition of a dangerous weapon in a school zone.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 10 of Chapter 269 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended in subsection (j) by inserting following the words “by whatever means,” the words:-

“and ‘dangerous weapon’ shall mean any other instrument reasonably believed to cause bodily harm.”
