An Act to Create a Workers’ Compensation Classification for Reinforcing Steel.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 23E of the General Laws shall be amended by adding the following section:
Section 17A-The Workers’ Compensation Advisory Council shall conduct a study of the need for a new insurance classification for repairing and reinforcing steel on existing bridge steel. The advisory council shall then issue a report with recommendations for new legislation or regulations accordingly.
