An Act relative to the location of methadone clinics.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Chapter 40A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after section 9C the following section:—
Section 9D. No licensed methadone dispensing facility or clinic shall be located within a radius of 1000 feet of the real property line of an elementary, secondary, vocational, public, or private school, licensed preschool, or any head start program or within 100 feet of a public park. Individuals operating said clinics have 1 year to comply.
