An Act relative to the town of Foxboro.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Amend Section 1 of Chapter 5 of the Acts of 2004, An Act Providing for a Selectmen - Town Manager Form of Government in the Town of Foxborough ("Town Manager Act"), by deleting Section 1 in its entirety and replacing it with the following:
"The Town of Foxborough shall be governed by the provisions of this act. To the extent that this act modifies or repeals existing general aws and special acts, including but not limited to Chapter 46 of the Acts of 1986, or the by-laws of the town of Foxborough, this act shall govern."
Amend Section 4(B)(4) of the Town Manager Act by inserting the following sentence after the first sentence: "Manage and direct the daily reporting and supervision of the water and sewer department employees."
Amend Section 4(B)(4) of the Town Manager Act by deleting the phrase "water and sewer employees" after the phrase "health agent" in the second sentence of Section 4(B)(8) of the Town Manager Act.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
and further, to authorize the board of Selectmen to take such actions and to enter into such additional instruments and agreements as they may deem appropriate and necessary to effectuate the purposes of this act.
