An Act clarifying participation in athletic safety programs.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 222 of chapter 111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is amended by adding in subsection (a) at the end of the first sentence:-
Notwithstanding the provisions of this section, coaches, athletic directors and parents or legal guardians of a child who participates in an interscholastic athletic activity shall be required to take such course every 2 years.
