In the Year Two Thousand Thirteen

An Act relative to cemetery and crematory inspections and penalties.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1: Section 2A of Chapter 114 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in line 8, by striking out the number “$50” and substituting in place thereof the words “one hundred dollars”
Section 2: Section 9 of Chapter 114 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in line 8, by striking out the word “twenty” and substituting in place thereof the words “one hundred”
Section 3: Section 37 of Chapter 114 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in line 3, by striking out the word “one” and substituting in place thereof the word “two”
Section 4: Chapter 114 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after section 37 the following section:-
Section 37A. Cemetery and crematory inspections
Boards of health will conduct annual inspections of each cemetery and crematory within the town. Any violations of this chapter shall be reported within one week of the date of inspection, to the department of public health.
Section 5: Section 42 of Chapter 114 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in line 5, by striking out the word “twenty” and substituting in place thereof the words “one hundred”
Section 6: Section 45A of Chapter 114 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in line 6, by striking out the word “fifty” and substituting in place thereof the words “one hundred”
Section 7: Section 50 of Chapter 114 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in line 2, by striking out the word “fifty” and substituting in place thereof the words “one hundred”
