An Act making technical changes regarding the use of lead-based materials in dwellings..
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 196(a) of chapter 111 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting, following the word “substance” or “substances” throughout the section, the following words:- “or material”.
SECTION 2. Section 196(a) of chapter 111 of the General Laws is hereby further amended by inserting, after the words “fixture of any” in the first paragraph, the following words:- “new or old”.
SECTION 3: This Act shall take effect upon passage.
