An Act relative to licensing massage therapists.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 227 of Chapter 112, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking, after the words "muscle flexibility and" the following word:-

nonspecific

SECTION 2. Section 227 of Chapter 112, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the words "dry heat or cabinet baths" the following words:-

, kinesiology taping,

SECTION 3. Section 228 of Chapter 112, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “event” the following new words:-

, whether on a single or consecutive days,

SECTION 4. Section 235 of Chapter 112, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the words "advertising in a newspaper or magazine or on television" the following words:-

, or through electronic means;
