An Act relative to seat belts on school buses.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 7B of chapter 90, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the fourth paragraph the following paragraph:--
Every school bus having seating accommodations for more than 16 school pupils, manufactured after January 1, 2013 and operated on the ways of the commonwealth, shall be equipped with passenger restraint systems that meet the minimum requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 222.
