An Act relative to collective bargaining.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Section 1 of Chapter 150E of the General Laws as appearing in the 2010 official edition, is hereby amended, in line 36 by inserting after the word “administration,” the following:

“the office of the State Auditor, the office of the State Treasurer, the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth, the office of the Attorney General of the Commonwealth, and all District Attorneys within the Commonwealth,”

and in line 77 by inserting after the word “employees.” the following:

“In the case of employees of the office of the State Auditor, “employer” shall mean the State Auditor.  In the case of employees of the office of the State Treasurer, “employer” shall mean the State Treasurer.  In the case of employees of the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth, “employer” shall mean the Secretary of the Commonwealth.  In the case of empolyees of the office of the Attorney General of the Commonwealth, “employer” shall mean the Attorney General of the Commonwealth.  In the case of employees of a District Attorney, “employer” shall mean the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.”
