An Act relative to public school employment during the summer months.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Subsection (d) of Section 2 of Chapter 32B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after “during the previous year” in the third to last section of the subsection the following:-
and the employee and employer both anticipate continued employment for the next consecutive school year. Employees terminated for cause or poor performance during, or at the end of the school year, would not be subject to health insurance coverage post termination date.
