In the Year Two Thousand Thirteen

An Act to make provisional employees in the labor service permanent employees.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Chapter 31 of the Massachusetts General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after Section

28 the following:—

Section 28A. All employees employed by the Commonwealth and by cities, towns, and districts, in the

Commonwealth in a labor service position for two years or more shall be made permanent employees.

The Personnel Administration shall annually report to the General Court the number of labor service

employees made permanent.
