An Act relative to group health insurance for dependent children of deceased members.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Chapter 32B of the Massachusetts General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following section:-

 SECTION 9J.If a member or subscriber to the group health insurance plan dies leaving dependents as defined in section 2 of Chapter 32B, such dependents shall remain eligible for the continuation of group coverage, notwithstanding the marital status of the member or subscriber.
