An Act relative to the film tax credit percentage.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 6 of Chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 edition, is hereby amended in line 516 by inserting after the words “year” the following:- “;provided further, that 10 per cent of the said 25 per cent shall not be credited unless the motion picture production company’s total aggregate payroll is composed of at least 50 per cent Massachusetts residents”.
