An Act making municipalities eligible to attend auctions for the purchase of motor vehicles.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following section:-

Section 57A. Any person or company engaged in the business of conducting auctions for the sale of motor vehicles shall allow any agent acting on behalf of a municipality to attend said auctions and purchase motor vehicles.
