An Act promoting transparency in corporate tax returns.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 83 of chapter 62C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 23 to 26, the following words “only after the state secretary has expunged the name of the taxpayer and the location, including street address of the taxpayer’s principal office as required by subsection (n)”

SECTION 2.  Said section 83 of said chapter 62C, as so appearing, is further amended by striking out, in lines 186 to 188, the following words “and expunging from each copy the name of the taxpayer and the location, including street address, of the taxpayer’s principal office.”
