An Act prohibiting the use of personal names on state property.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any rule or regulation, special or general law to the contrary, the placing of a personal name on any state property by an elected or appointed official of the Commonwealth shall be prohibited. Nothing in this section shall prohibit the naming of state property as part of a dedication in honoring individuals by the general court.
