In the Year Two Thousand Thirteen

An Act for state employment transparency.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 268A of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after Section 5 (e) the following clause:
(e 1/2) a former or current member of the general court who is employed by the commonwealth or any state agency within one year after the member leaves the general court; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to former members of the general court who obtain employment by the general court or though appointment by the governor, or
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect 366 days after its passage.
