An Act relative to telemarketing solicitation.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1: Section 4 of Chapter 159C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following words:-
“The telephone number listed in the identification service or device shall be a legitimate number in which the consumer can directly communicate with the solicitor.”
