Hedlund for the issuance of an annual proclamation by the Governor setting apart the month of March as multiple system atrophy awareness month.  State Administration and Regulatory Oversight.

An Act officially making the month of March multiple system atrophy awareness month.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Chapter 6 of the General Laws, as most recently amended in chapter 276 of the acts of 2012, is hereby further amended by adding, after section 15RRRRR, the following:-

Section 15SSSSS. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the month of March as Multiple System Atrophy Awareness Month, to increase awareness and understanding of the contributions made by persons suffering from MSA, which is a rare neurological condition with an unknown cause, and recommending that said month be observed in an appropriate manner by the people.
