An Act establishing School Bus Driver Day.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Chapter 6 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after Section 15PPPPP, the following section:-

Section 15QQQQQ. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart October 20 as School Bus Drivers’ Day, in recognition of the invaluable contributions of the Commonwealth’s school bus drivers to the safe delivery of the state’s children to and from school, through all forms of climates and conditions, twice a day for 180 days a year, and shall recommend that the day be observed in an appropriate manner by the people.
