An Act regulating regular inspection of utility poles and other structures.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 34 of Chapter 166 as appearing in the 2010 official edition is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following new paragraph as follows:-
“A person or a corporation owning or operating a pole or other structure on over or under streets shall be required to inspect such poles or structures for safety and connections at least every few years and shall maintain a report on the condition of such polls or other structures which shall be open to public inspection.”
