The bridge on Kimball Street, spanning over the Nashua River, in the Cleghorn section of the City of Fitchburg, shall be designated and known as The George J. Bourque Memorial Bridge, in honor of George J. Bourque, who served eight years as Mayor of the City of Fitchburg and twenty-two years in the Massachusetts House of Representatives for the Third Worcester District. The Massachusetts Highway Department shall erect and maintain suitable markers bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
