In the Year Two Thousand Thirteen

An Act designating a certain section of State Highway Route 2 in the city of Cambridge and town of Arlington as the James M. Gavin Memorial Highway.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the section of state highway route 2 in the City of Cambridge and the Town of Arlington spanning the portion from Concord Avenue in Cambridge to the junction at Pleasant Street in Arlington shall be designated and known as the James M. Gavin memorial highway, in honor of General James M. Gavin. The Department of Transportation shall erect suitable markers bearing such designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
