In the Year Two Thousand Thirteen

An Act relative to the members of the Massachusetts National Guard.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 33 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out Section 88B , as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, and inserting in place thereof the following section:-
Section 88B. The Commonwealth shall reimburse or pay a Massachusetts National Guardsman’s monthly premium in the Serviceman's Group Life Insurance Program administered by the Veterans Administration or an equivalent group life insurance program of the serviceman’s choosing, provided that the reimbursement or premium payment shall not exceed 50 per cent of the monthly premium cost of Serviceman's Group Life Insurance.
