An Act authorizing the town of Sunderland to continue the employment of Richard E. Dickinson as a call firefighter.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, Richard E. Dickinson, a call firefighter for the town of Sunderland, may continue in the position until he reaches 70 years of age, the date of his retirement or until his non-reappointment, whichever occurs first; provided, however, that no deductions from the regular compensation of Richard E. Dickinson shall be made under chapter 32 of the General Laws for any service subsequent to his reaching the age of 65 in connection with his service to the town for retirement or pension purposes.
Section 2: This act will take effect upon passage.
