By Mr. Naughton of Clinton, a petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 3423) of Harold P. Naughton, Jr. for legislation to direct the Department of Environmental Management to restore a portion of the beach area on the Nashua River in the town of Clinton.  Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture.

An Act to restore the beach area along the Nashua River in Clinton.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Chapter 21 of the general laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 37D the following section:-

37E. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the department of conservation and recreation, in consultation with the Town of Clinton, shall restore the natural beauty and vibrancy of the beach area located between the east bank of the Nashua River and Boylston Street in Clinton.
