An Act relative to adult foster care.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 41 of chapter 118E of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “whoever”, in line 1, the following words:- knowingly and willingly.

SECTION 2. Said section 41 of said chapter 118E, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “services”, in line 21, the following words:- including a qualified foster care placement agency as defined in 26 U.S.C. 131  that provides services under this chapter or any person providing services under this chapter to said qualified agency, who hires and pays an adult foster care giver.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect as of September 28, 1993.
