Straus (by vote of the town) for legislation to authorize the town of Fairhaven to issue an additional license for the sale of wines and malt beverages to be drunk on the premises.  Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure.  [Local Approval Received.]

An Act relative to the Town of Fairhaven issuing a Common Victualer Beer and Wine license to Lisa M. Malcolm, of Jevon Enterprises, 116 Sconcticut Neck Road in the town of Fairhaven.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1:     Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary or any limitations on the number of licenses issued under the provisions of Chapter 138 of the Massachusets General Laws, as amended, the Town of Fairhaven may isssue a Common Victualer Beer and Wine License to Lisa Malcolm of Jevon Enterprises, d/b/a Mac's Soda Bar, 115 Sconticut Neck Road in the Town of Fairhaven.  This license is non-transferable to a different location, but may be transferred to a new licensee at the same location.

Section 2:  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
