An Act authorizing the town of Andover to exchange certain parcels of land.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding chapter 30B of the General Laws, the town of Andover may convey a certain parcel of land to Donald and Lesley Durant.  The parcel is shown as Parcel B on “Plan of Land, 278R High Plain Rd., Andover, MA 01810, Scale 1” = 40’”, prepared for Donald & Lesley Durant by JM Associates, 325 Main Street, North Reading, MA 01864, dated Sept. 26, 2012, a copy of which is on file with the town clerk’s office. 

SECTION 2. In consideration for and as a condition of the conveyance authorized in section 1, Donald and Lesley Durant shall convey to the town of Andover: (i) a certain parcel of land shown as Parcel A on the plan of land described in section 1, to be held in the care, custody and control of the conservation commission; and (ii) the amount of $8,500.

SECTION 3. The conveyances made under this act shall be free and clear of all encumbrances, but may be subject to such utility easements, restrictions and other easements and rights as may be acceptable to the board of selectmen of the town of Andover, and such other terms and conditions as said board of selectmen deems advisable in the interests of the town.

SECTION 4. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
