By Mr. Dempsey of Haverhill, a petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 3487) of Brian S. Dempsey (with the approval of the mayor and city council) for legislation to authorize the city of Haverhill to appoint Scott Bradish a firefighter in said city notwithstanding the maximum age requirement.  Public Service.  [Local Approval Received.]

An Act authorizing the appointment of Scott Bradish as a firefighter in the city of Haverhill notwithstanding the maximum age requirement.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Section 1. The personnel administrator of the human resource division shall certify notwithstanding any general or special law or regulation to the contrary Scott Bradish to be eligible for original appointment to the position of firefighter in the City of Haverhill according to the grade he received on the examination for firefighter held in April of 2012, notwithstanding the maximum age for that position. If Scott Bradish meets all other requirements as a firefighter, the City of Haverhill may appoint him.

Section 2. This act shal take effect upon its passage
