An Act relative to the sale of alcoholic beverages in the town of Harvard.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1: Notwithstanding Section 11 or Section 11A of Chapter 138 of the General Laws, the Board of Selectmen of the Town of Harvard, acting as the local licensing authority for said Town under Chapter 138 of the General Laws, is hereby authorized to issue all types of licenses for the sale of alcoholic beverages to be consumed off-premises and for the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages to be consumed on-premises, regardless of the seating capacity of the restaurant or function room where such beverages will be consumed on-premises, that may be issued by a local licensing authority under said Chapter 138 which the Board of Selectmen has not heretofore been authorized to issue.
SECTION 2: This act shall take effect upon its passage.
