In the Year Two Thousand Thirteen

An Act relative to the charter for the town of Harwich.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 9-2-3 of the charter of the town of Harwich, on file in the office of the archivist of the commonwealth as provided by section 12 of chapter 43B of the General Laws, is hereby amended by striking out the words “in November” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- of December.

SECTION 2.  Section 9-2-4 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “in January” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- of February.

SECTION 3.  Section 9-3-2 of said charter is hereby amended by striking out the words “on or before the first Tuesday in March of each year” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- on or before the fourth Tuesday of February of each year.

SECTION 4.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
