An Act authorizing the town of Weston to grant a license for the sale of wines and malt beverages at a food store..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. The first paragraph of section 1 of chapter 37 of the acts of 2008 is hereby amended by inserting after the word “wines” the following:- and malt beverages.

SECTION 2. The second paragraph of said section 1 of said chapter 37 of the acts of 2008 is hereby amended by inserting after the word “wine” the following:- and malt beverages.

SECTION 3. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the holder of the license issued pursuant to said chapter 37 of the acts of 2008 may, at any time, apply for an amendment of said license in order to authorize the sale of malt beverages in addition to wine.

SECTION 4. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
