An Act to provide young drivers with more practical driving experience.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 8B of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking, in line 1 the words “sixteen years” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- “fifteen years and six months”.

SECTION 2. Section 8 of said Chapter is hereby amended by striking out, in line 32, the words “six months” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- “one year”.

SECTION 3. Section 8 of said Chapter is hereby amended by striking out, in line 52, the number “40” and inserting in place thereof the following number:- “80”.

SECTION 4. Section 8 of said Chapter is hereby amended by striking out, in line 63, the number “12” and inserting in place thereof the following number:- “24”.
