An Act relative to the sale of distilled spirits at auction.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1.  Section 14A of chapter 138 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking the words “wines and malt beverages”, in lines 2 and 3, and inserting in place thereof the words:- wines, malt beverages, and distilled spirits.

SECTION 2.  Section 14A of said chapter 138 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by inserting after the word “wine”, in line 3, the words:- , malt beverages, and distilled spirits.

SECTION 3.  Section 14A of said chapter 138 is hereby further amended by inserting after the word “wine”, in line 11, the words:- , malt beverages, and distilled spirits.

SECTION 4.  Section 14A of said chapter 138 is hereby further amended by inserting after the word “wine”, in line 16, the words:- , malt beverages, and distilled spirits.

SECTION 5.  Section 14A of said chapter 138 is hereby further amended by inserting after the word “wine”, in line 17, the words:- , malt beverages, and distilled spirits.

SECTION 6.  Section 14A of said chapter 138 is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 18 and 19, the words “1/4 of an ounce” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- 1 ounce; provided further that no single serving of malt beverage shall exceed 3 ounces; provided further that no single serving of distilled spirits shall exceed ¼ of an ounce.”

SECTION 7.  Section 14A of said chapter 138 is hereby further amended by inserting after the word “wine”, in line 20, the words:- , malt beverages, and distilled spirits.
