An Act relative to charter school renewal.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 89 of chapter 71 of the General Laws, as most recently amended by section 3 of chapter 199 of the acts of 2011, is hereby further amended by inserting, after the first sentence of subsection (dd), the following clause:-

; provided, however, that the term for a charter school renewal shall be 7 years from the expiration of the initial charter or subsequent renewals.
