An Act relative to the Milford Water Company.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 9 of chapter 77 of the acts of 1881 is hereby amended by striking the last sentence and inserting in place thereof the following:- “And this authority to purchase said franchise and property is granted upon the condition that the price for such purchase, either as agreed upon or determined as above, is accepted by said Town by a two-thirds vote of the voters present and voting thereon, at a meeting called for that purpose.”.
