An Act relative to implementing watershed based permitting in the Commonwealth.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

The Department of Environmental Protection shall conduct a feasibility study for the implementation of watershed based planning.  The department shall complete a report of its findings within one year of adoption of this act.  A copy of the report shall be provided to the governor,  the clerks of the senate and house of representatives, the chairs of the house and senate committees on ways and means and the joint committee on environment, natural resources and agriculture.
