An Act relative to the lease of Northeastern University Henderson boat house and youth programs.

 

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

"SECTION XXX. Notwithstanding sections 40E to 40I inclusive, of chapter 7 of the General Laws, or any other general or special law to the contrary, the commissioner of capital asset management and maintenance, in consultation with the commissioner of conservation and recreation, may lease or enter into other agreements with the Northeastern University Henderson Boat House in the city of Boston; provided, however that the Boston Latin School row teams shall be granted full access to the locker, restroom, and shower facilities at the Northeastern University Henderson Boat House on days of scheduled practices or races, and provided further, that Northeastern University shall contribute annually the sum of $75,000 for the funding of the Let’s Row Boston Program, a rowing program for middle school students in the city of Boston, administered by Community Rowing, Inc. of the city of Boston".
