An Act to modernize the payment of EBT benefits.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 2 of chapter 18 of the General Laws, as amended by section 1 of chapter 161 of the acts of 2012, is hereby amended: The comprehensive financial transitional assistance benefits program shall require renewal after 1 calendar year by the individual member receiving the benefits. The department shall promulgate rules and regulations to fulfill the requirements of the annual renewal.
